I have always been fascinated by photography. I have spent countless hours studying photographs of people, while considering the angles, the lighting, and the editing the photographer used. I love the fact that photography has the amazing ability to transport us to a different time, or place with one single shot.
It was not until I started blogging that I decided to take photography more seriously. With camera in hand, I started experimenting with photographs of my apartment, of friends, and family. It was after experimenting in this way that I realized my passion for photography. I have no formal training or background in this field, but I realize that passion can open your eyes to the impossible, so not only did I invest in the proper equipment I also spent the necessary time to learn everything I could to enhance the skill it takes to be proficient with this passion.
I enjoy, and appreciate the opportunity to photograph bloggers, couples, influencers who make an impact in their profession, families, and also lifestyle type setting. I take an individual approach to each person I photograph. I make every effort to embrace and highlight the focus of what they are trying to convey to their audience with each session.
I look forward to working together and capturing the potential magnificence of your moments through my eyes and the lens of my camera.
I came across this quote this morning and knew I had to build a post around it. Living a life of adventure is something that I whole-heartily believe in. I think you have to always keep it fresh and exciting or you walk a fine line of living a life where one day you look back and say “if only I would have done this or that.” EEK…. that is by far one of my biggest fears. Adventure is no doubt (in my mind) the greatest gift to give someone. I believe it so much I vowed it to zee hubby in front of 200 people a few weeks ago. I don’t necessarily think you have to travel to India or fly to the moon to achieve adventure. You can go to your local park with a picnic basket and find it there. I truly believe adventure is what you make it and and can be found anywhere you want it to be. So this weekend, go out, do something new and create your own adventure.

I love a good red. You may notice that I rock a red lip pretty much every other day. Whenever someone has it on I always do a double take. I love the way it pops against any skin tone, fabric, or hair color. I also think it is a nice break up from the floral you see so much of in the summer.
I chose this outfit to go late night salsa dancing. With the salty breeze, a drink in hand, and my all red I felt like I could salsa with the locals! I know it is stereotypical to say red makes you feel bolder but, no lie, I feel like I have more confidence when I am rocking the hue.
When we decided to go to Tulum for our honeymoon we knew we wanted to stay in a boutique hotel. We didn’t The entire hotel only as 18 rooms and is around 15 mintues from any activity so to say we were pretty remote would be true.
