I have always been fascinated by photography. I have spent countless hours studying photographs of people, while considering the angles, the lighting, and the editing the photographer used. I love the fact that photography has the amazing ability to transport us to a different time, or place with one single shot.
It was not until I started blogging that I decided to take photography more seriously. With camera in hand, I started experimenting with photographs of my apartment, of friends, and family. It was after experimenting in this way that I realized my passion for photography. I have no formal training or background in this field, but I realize that passion can open your eyes to the impossible, so not only did I invest in the proper equipment I also spent the necessary time to learn everything I could to enhance the skill it takes to be proficient with this passion.
I enjoy, and appreciate the opportunity to photograph bloggers, couples, influencers who make an impact in their profession, families, and also lifestyle type setting. I take an individual approach to each person I photograph. I make every effort to embrace and highlight the focus of what they are trying to convey to their audience with each session.
I look forward to working together and capturing the potential magnificence of your moments through my eyes and the lens of my camera.
It doesn’t matter if it is winter or spring my go-to for dressing up an outfit: a silk scarf. You can be wearing jeans and a t-shirt or a simple t-shirt dress and the silk scarf instantly elevates the look. I am not making this up, I wear my simple Zara dress with my Mother-in-Laws vintage Hermes silk scarf and I get stopped all the time from people telling me they love my outfit. However, when I just wear the simple Zara dress, not a thing. Is that proof enough that the scarf can elevate any look?
Here are my favorite vintage Hermes scarves from around the web:

The Net-A-Porter sale is one I look forward to all year! It is such a good time to stock up on those designer items you have been lusting over. I always buy a pair or two of jeans because is anyone else shocked at how expensive denim as gotten? I have rounded up my favorite picks from the sale and all are under $200! I hope you find something you like. If not you can click hereand check out the sale for yourself!
Maternity clothing has been my number one nemesis. It is all SO unattractive. I have heard how lucky women are “these days” to have so many clothing options, however, I am still not 100% pleased. Unless you like pattern it can be very hard to find pieces that you love and actually want to wear. However, the one item I have found that I have been pleasantly surprised by are workout leggings. I will say, I tried for a long time to find an inexpensive pair and wound up very disappointed. I purchased these from Gap and want to warn you to not even waste your money! They didn’t hold their shape, became lose after one wear and were see-through. For just a bit more money I found the legging of my maternity dreams!
These Ingrid and Isabel leggings (also in a long version here) are amazing. Not only do they support your belly but they hold their shape, feel secure, and have a nice modern shape. I purchased one pair and literally wore them everyday. I am now the proud owner of THREE pairs. They are a tad more of an investment but for the amount of wear you get out of them and with the added confidence they give you, I promise they are worth it! Let’s face it, pregnancy can feel as though you have completely lost control of your body, so why not spend a little more to feel a lot better!!!
