I have always been fascinated by photography. I have spent countless hours studying photographs of people, while considering the angles, the lighting, and the editing the photographer used. I love the fact that photography has the amazing ability to transport us to a different time, or place with one single shot.
It was not until I started blogging that I decided to take photography more seriously. With camera in hand, I started experimenting with photographs of my apartment, of friends, and family. It was after experimenting in this way that I realized my passion for photography. I have no formal training or background in this field, but I realize that passion can open your eyes to the impossible, so not only did I invest in the proper equipment I also spent the necessary time to learn everything I could to enhance the skill it takes to be proficient with this passion.
I enjoy, and appreciate the opportunity to photograph bloggers, couples, influencers who make an impact in their profession, families, and also lifestyle type setting. I take an individual approach to each person I photograph. I make every effort to embrace and highlight the focus of what they are trying to convey to their audience with each session.
I look forward to working together and capturing the potential magnificence of your moments through my eyes and the lens of my camera.

Happy Monday everyone! I hope your weekend was exceptional! I have been sitting on some exciting news for the past few months and was going to wait to tell you but I think now is a good time. You will be seeing a lot of changes over the next few weeks here at M.A.S. Well, actually let us start with that – M.A.S. will no longer be M.A.S. fashion. I have decided to go back to the name I used when I first started blogging in 2010 – So Then They Say. Why the change? While I still love fashion, my passions have evolved to include much more and I felt fashion was a bit limiting. Through the years I have been lucky to travel to different parts of the world and see different cultures – something that has grown to have a huge impact on my life. While the new site, STTS, will still have loads of fashion, I want to incorporate more international flair with both travel and fashion. While the new site will have a new look and new name – the person behind it will still be me!
Another goal I have for the new site is to make it much more shoppable. I have received a lot of feedback lately on you all looking for certain pieces at all price ranges or that you like when I call out new designers – this will all be here but in a much more user friendly way! I think you will really love the new features and hopefully everyone will find something that they are looking for. Once the site launches I will do a walk through of how it works but I had to give you a heads up that a BIG change is coming! So when you are looking for M.A.S. you aren’t totally freaked when you see So Then They Say!
Lastly, a change I want to focus on is a non-profit near and dear to my heart, my mothers own Soldier Cookie Project. I talked about this a bit in my July 4th post but I hope to be incorporating more of it in the future. With all of the struggles going on right now it is nice to know we live in a land of the free!
So, there it is! My big Monday news! The new site has a few more wrinkles to iron out but it is coming! New name and all!!! I hope you love it as much as I do!
I’m late! I’m late! For a very important date! No time to say “Hello”, goodbye! I’m late! I’m late!
Yes! On the last day in Paris, I was running late. No time to think about hair, make-up, or dress, I was out the door. Since we had such a quick trip in Paris, there really was no time to waste! Unfortunately, I couldn’t get it together (because of this) so I jumped out of bed in my pajamas! Fortunately for me, my girl Courtney at Maison du Soir designed the perfect solution – the Begonia! So thank you Courtney for constructing something so perfect for this champagne loving girl who can’t shake off the reminisce of a good night as quickly as she used to! Really, you are a genius! The dress is not only a comfy/chic pajama but also a simple/minimalist day time dress, should you ever find yourself in a bind. I am not sure I could have made it through Paris without you. Je n’aurais pas pu faire ca sans toi!

Stay tuned for my last set in London! In the mean time check out her website, Maison Du Soir
