July 2013 | so then they say

Last week I had a really sweet reader write in asking which lip color I use. I realized that besides posting about my, Revlon, “love that red,” I have never really talked about it. Crazy, considering I am a total lipstick/gloss junkie. I live in my colors from MAC, Smashbox, Chanel, and Nars. They all hve such a wide variety of options and they aren’t too heavy on the lip. During the day I always try to stick with neutral tones (unless I am going for my pop of red) and at night I try to play the lip up a little more. It is always fun to test out lipsticks and find your “signature” color. Mine for daytime is, Chanel, “Pimpante” and night, Revlon, “Love That Red.”

This summer has been non-stop. Every summer has its high’s and low’s but this summer seems to be having more high’s than anything. I don’t want to seem like I am complaining because it is awesome and I love it but it is also a little exhausting. Do you ever get so exhausted or overwhelmed you can’t be bothered to overly think what you are wearing? I do, and as a fashion blogger that.is.tough. My, go-to, don’t think about it too much, always works piece, has been and will always be shorts and t-shirts. Rain, sun, dinners, or nights in, you can find me in a pair of shorts and an easy t-shirt. Spice it up with a pair of heels or be relaxed with some espadrille flats, it always works!

The past few days I snapped a few pictures of my “shorts and T’s” combo so you could see just how much ~~I overly wear this~~ this look works for any occasion. I will show full outfit deets the next few days, so stay tuned!
