Current Obsession

I have been loving, no no, more like obsessing over the multiple rings on a finger trend (also talked about here). I have been searching high and low for skinny bands that aren’t obnoxious but still get the job done. I found them here and just ordered a few more for triple layering.  They really are my go to jewelry piece right now.

Perfume Memories

I once read that people become associated with smells and places. I have never forgotten this and have an array of perfumes to accommodate any situation. I have noticed if I wear a perfume around someone for a while, stop for a few months, then go back to it they will say, “oh my gosh that really reminds me of you.” I also do this with my boyfriend. If it is date night he gets Stella and when we go on vacation I only pack Chance. In the article, I read to do this so people start associating your smell with happy  memories (or lets hope they are happy). No lie, the other day I wore Chance around my boyfriend and he said, “wow that reminds me of our trip around Switzerland (which was a few years ago).” Mission accomplished! Now my secret is spoiled with him but you can definitely try it.

Purple Pleasers

Asos shorts (similar), Marc by Marc Jacobs top (shop the page), Italian bag, Ray Ban sunnies, Tory Burch sandals, J.Crew bracelet, Essie nail color Set in Stone
I had a fantastic weekend in Chicago meeting with amazing bloggers (Lauren, Hallie, Jena, Jen, + Jiye). We learned how to make sushi and cocktails. Two of my favorite things! Yum Yum
Right when I got off the plane I realized I really was back in Texas. The heat was all consuming and I decided to throw on some easy lace shorts and a sleeveless blouse to run some errands. I love the color of these shorts as they are SO easy to match. If you read my blog you know I do not like to over think what I am going to wear and these shorts let me just run in my closet, grab them, and then throw on any kind of blouse. My kind of easy!
