Packing Smart

Lately I have been living out of a suite case. Goodbye LA, Hello Australia! I am in Dallas for no less than three days only to turn around and fly out again. I love traveling and getting to see all these amazing countries is a once in a lifetime experience but all this travel has definitely taught me how to pack. In the past I have been known to be a “heavy packer.” Always bringing at least five pairs of shoes and 30 outfits to which I probably wore half of. Now I find myself packing six pieces for a ten day trip and re-wearing them in different ways.
Take this tank and jacket. I wear the tank with shorts, skirts, and under sweaters and then the jacket over a dress or with jeans. It is amazing how many outfits you can get out of a piece if you just play with it.
If you plan on doing any summer traveling I highly recommend grabbing a great blazer and building outfits around it, like said. If you plan accordingly you should be able to get three different looks out of every piece you pack.

  2. Have fun with your travels. Smart packing is definitely something that has come better for me now that I am in my mid-20s and an experienced traveler. Now I would rather have room for all the fun things I find on trips, rather than a 8th pair of shoes! ha

  3. You look amazing, I am loving all of the accessories. I have also become a better packer, I think my first cruise with my parents I packed about 6 different pairs of shoes and way too many clothes. It is such a burden when you are traveling in the airport.
