Mint Shake

When I first saw the color mint was big for spring I was uneasy. Just coming off of a season where I stuck to grey’s, blacks, and whites I didn’t know how to incorporate it into my wardrobe. Like most things in my life I dove in head first, going in all or nothing. I am not very good at balance so when I have my mind made up I am going to do something, I do it. I decided to not ease the color into my outfit but rather wear it all at once.
I think this is an easier concept to pull off than people think. When I attempted my version of the “monochromatic” look: I like to add various textures/patterns to give it depth.

  1. Love this outfit! There are so many cute items at Asos, can with free shipping and returns I am not sure why I haven’t bought anything there yet. Have you found the sizing to be pretty standard?

  2. Much love for this fun combination! I have a mint top in my closet but am yet waiting for the weather to turn spring so I can take pictures! Mint and flats in rain doesn’t work too well:)
