TEX-MEX MINGLING

What a weekend! It was magical, perfect, and everything I had dreamt of. While I let all of the emotions and excitement sink in I will share photos from events throughout the wedding week.
Since most of my fiances family and friends are traveling from overseas my mother-in-law kindly hosted them to events and tours around Dallas before we all drove to Austin for the big day. The week started off perfectly with a “Tex-Mex” themed night. We ate amazing food from Mias, heard beautiful toasts from a few Swiss friends and family and enjoyed the beautiful 70 degree Dallas weather. It was a perfect kick off to an exciting week!

ONE STOP SHOP

Finding dresses for wedding events is not as easy as it may sound. Do you wear long or short? Black-tie or cocktail? Flowy or constructed? The invite and venue should give an idea of the type of outfit but finding the exact dress that fills your needs is always the hardest part. When I have no direction at all I turn to websites or stores that offer a wide variety of dresses and designers. Max Studio is a new addition to my list of websites I visit to find the ideal dress. They have a variety and mix of designer dresses and affordable pieces.

They also offer regular clothing which is perfect for any day activities the wedding has set up, the send off brunch, or travelling back home. I, personally, want this sweater for travel days to the honeymoon and this bag for when we get there. Functional and cute!

Building The Bedside

I know this is a fashion blog but every now and again I just need to vent about how much work it is to decorate a home. This is where I am now; bedside tables. Where do I begin?
They have been one of the hardest accessories to find. I scroll through site after site, for hours, and still have not been able to find “the one.” I have been turning to inspirational pictures, houzz, and other design sites, to no avail. Luckily, Brice and I met a very nice gentleman who’s niece, Josey, owns a company called, Paloma Creations.  Basically, they help you design and then create your dream piece! What more could a girl ask for! Now, who wants to donate to the “Maison Hafner” fund so I can hire them? 🙂
