I have always been fascinated by photography. I have spent countless hours studying photographs of people, while considering the angles, the lighting, and the editing the photographer used. I love the fact that photography has the amazing ability to transport us to a different time, or place with one single shot.
It was not until I started blogging that I decided to take photography more seriously. With camera in hand, I started experimenting with photographs of my apartment, of friends, and family. It was after experimenting in this way that I realized my passion for photography. I have no formal training or background in this field, but I realize that passion can open your eyes to the impossible, so not only did I invest in the proper equipment I also spent the necessary time to learn everything I could to enhance the skill it takes to be proficient with this passion.
I enjoy, and appreciate the opportunity to photograph bloggers, couples, influencers who make an impact in their profession, families, and also lifestyle type setting. I take an individual approach to each person I photograph. I make every effort to embrace and highlight the focus of what they are trying to convey to their audience with each session.
I look forward to working together and capturing the potential magnificence of your moments through my eyes and the lens of my camera.
Today I have my first wedding dress fitting. I am so excited to see my dress that I hardly slept last night. There is something so exciting about finally getting to put on your dress. The dress that you will wear when your whole life changes. I am head over heels in love with my dress and am not sure I could have designed something that was more “me.”
I am also really excited to be heading to Nordstrom Bridal this week to try on some more pretty dresses! When I went dress shopping I picked the sixth or seventh one I tried on so I felt I like really missed out on an experience. Thanks to Nordstrom, I get to fill the void and possibly find a reception dress! I can’t wait to share my experience and show you what I find 🙂
I must start off by saying how sorry I am that I have been so MIA. There has been so many exciting things going on at the Summers household and I can’t wait to share them with you! Everything to a puppy, wedding details, new clothes and new accessories for the house! Images to come 🙂
While out searching for all of these new items I stumbled upon this pair of 7 For All Mankind sunnies. I love my trusty Karen Walkers but the 7FAM lightweight, super-skinny frame instantly drew my attention. When the sales clerk said they were on sale, I do what I always do, I said, “I’ll take them.” I have been living in them since yesterday and am headed out the door wearing them to walk the dog.

This weekend I am off to San Francisco for a super quick get-a-way with my bestie and fiance to see Swedish House Mafia’s last tour. When we found out they would be in the states we all three decided to go and make a lasting memory. I can’t wait to get there, walk around the city, eat fabulous food, and have too many drinks, because life is short and we all just need to buy the damn shoes trip.

You also missed round II of M.A.S. Interviews! I LOVED getting to know Carin and her photography is incredible. After reading her blog, Four Days in Paris, you will feel like you were just there for four months.

Lastly, I was blown away by all of your comments on ideas for wedding cakes. You all know me so well. Simple and no fuss 🙂 I even got great advice on Facebook too! Thank you all for your help!
