Best Photo Apps

Studio

For the past few months I have been really obsessed with finding new apps, particularly in photography . There are so many to chose from, and each does something different, I find myself taking one photo and running it through three applications. This is definitely not necessary as Instagram does just find on its own, but like the rest of my generation, my curiosity always gets the better of me. My favorite photo app for editing pictures is Afterlight. It has a wide selection of filters and adjustments which help photos stand out. For resizing a picture for Instagram (that damn square), I use Instasize. I have a bevy of other photo apps but these are by far the ones I use the most.

While roaming the Internet yesterday I came across Brittany Jepsen’s site, The House That Lars Built. Her latest posts was on none-other than a new photo app called, Studio. What a cool concept. In the past, if I want to write on a photo, I used A Beautiful Mess, but Studio allows you to add frames, textures, icons, and create your very own graphics. I would compare it to Photoshop for graphic designers. How cool is that? Brittany gives a detailed description on how to use it, here. This totally helped when I was creating the image you see above! Thanks girl!

Now that I shared some of my favorites, definitely let me know if there are any other hidden gems I am yet to discover! 🙂
