Growing up wearing white before Easter or after Labor Day was a no no. I mean really, if I came down wearing white jeans in October I was sent back upstairs to change. Since this was ingrained in my head it has always been something I followed. However, this year I have realized white is very appropriate between the above time frame – it is all in the fabric. White wool during winter – perfection. White linen before Easter – no go. All in the fabric! Knowing this, I had been on the lookout for white wide-leg trousers for what seems like ages. I was dying to wear them to NYFW but couldn’t find ones that were “weather appropriate” so opted for this leather look instead. I finally ended my search on these beauties from Nordstrom. They.are.perfect. Long, light, and moves perfectly! The key to wearing wide-leg pants is that they must be long. Yes, that is right, get out your highest heels and strut. The longer the pant the longer and more chic you look!

All white has been on my style wish list for what seems like ages. When I see pictures on Pinterest or around the web of girls wearing it I always think it is so ethereal and chic. I thought about waiting until after Easter to wear this look but decided to throw caution to the wind and daringly post it a few weeks before. such a badass. All joking aside, wearing white is just about the easiest and fastest way to look pulled together this season. In the cooler months we love to wear all black because it is easy and always looks great, but in the spring we reach for lots of color, florals, and patterns. If you want to stick with the, “easy and always looks great” method, try incorporating head to toe white into your stylings. You won’t be disappointed. And if you do wear it before Easter – you are such a daredevil!

  1. I love those pants, they are such an amazing cut for you!
I don’t follow the white rules, but I don’t own much white apart from cozy sweaters, so it doesn’t matter, ha ha.
