I have always been fascinated by photography. I have spent countless hours studying photographs of people, while considering the angles, the lighting, and the editing the photographer used. I love the fact that photography has the amazing ability to transport us to a different time, or place with one single shot.
It was not until I started blogging that I decided to take photography more seriously. With camera in hand, I started experimenting with photographs of my apartment, of friends, and family. It was after experimenting in this way that I realized my passion for photography. I have no formal training or background in this field, but I realize that passion can open your eyes to the impossible, so not only did I invest in the proper equipment I also spent the necessary time to learn everything I could to enhance the skill it takes to be proficient with this passion.
I enjoy, and appreciate the opportunity to photograph bloggers, couples, influencers who make an impact in their profession, families, and also lifestyle type setting. I take an individual approach to each person I photograph. I make every effort to embrace and highlight the focus of what they are trying to convey to their audience with each session.
I look forward to working together and capturing the potential magnificence of your moments through my eyes and the lens of my camera.

For you, I would definitely say smooth (without actually knowing you 🙂 but just from your style and design aesthetics). And YES on the flowers!! A simple white can look super elegant without making it to “fussy” or girly! Can’t wait for you to share what you end up deciding on!!

You are SO right!!! I loved your comment and thought you were spot on! Definitely like the clean and sleek look 🙂 Thanks for helping! I think the smooth will look elegant and then add a little flower=no fuss! 🙂

Oh, wow! That top cake is my fav! Peonies and hydrangeas…perfection. The simple beaded trim at the bottom is a nice finish! Congrats! I’m sure your wedding will be amazing!
I think that is my favorite as well! So classic and simple! I am glad to hear you liked the beaded trim. I wasn’t sure about it but now I agree with you! It is a great little touch.
Ha!Ha!…it appears that my post comes from MAS FASHION.
Sorry…Love you, Mom
My favorites are the first two. I love how the first layer of the cake in the first picture is finished at the bottom. You could minimize all the floral if you want…but it looks good & with the flowers no texture is needed. The second one looks like your Grandparent’s Cake Topper, except theirs was made out of procelain china, not paper. 🙂
I like the simplicity of the three roses and how that cake is textured. The texturing balances the minimal flowers, so those two are my favorites. It is going to be beautiful whatever you decide. oxoxo
You know me Mary I am all about simplicity and minimalism so I am going to have to go with the non textured cake with elegant finishes.
haha you and I are like two peas in a pod! We must go with everything simple and minimal 🙂 just love it!!! xx
I absolutely loved my cake! We had a white chocolate calla lilly’s, small details on the cake and our initials on the top layer! I loved every bit of it! Can’t wait to see what you decide! Congrats!!

Thanks girl! Can you believe it! I am in shock it is coming so fast!!! I can’t wait. I wish it were tomorrow 🙂
I LOVE no texture with floral! I went to a wedding a few months ago in Savannah and saw the most gorgeous cake – it was smooth texture with 2 magnolia flowers on it. I always thought my taste was a more traditional looking cake, but this one definitely made me think differently! ….now I’m hungry! haha

Ah, that sounds gorgeous!!!! That is kind of what i have in mind. Simple and chic. Never thought of magnolias but I love that!
I love the smooth finish and I think a few florals are a nice touch as long as you don’t overdo it. Everything is going to be amazing – so excited for you!!
