I have been missing in action the last week! Taking care of a 10 month old is no joke. While I thought I would have loads of time to catch up on work and blog posts, I was wrong. Play, feed, nap, change, bath, and repeat leaves little time for anything other than full focus on that sweet little girl. I must be honest, since the launch of STTS I have been “full throttle” so a little r&r was very welcomed. I feel terrible that I haven’t done one thing for the blog but everyone needs a little vacay!
Since I barely had time to wash my face in the morning I kept my dressing simple. Keeping it easy in my books means a t-shirt, jeans, and messy hair. Since I am so inspired by the european minimalist look I have been filling my closet with basic staples. One staple that I have clung to over the years – a trench coat. There is nothing quite like the classic look. Everyone from Jackie Onassis to Kate Moss has rocked it and it can easily be adopted to your look too! If you don’t have a trench I highly recommend investing in one this year! I wear mine through each season and it always pulls a simple look together. If you are in the market for a trench check out this selection at Nordstroms or this one at Shopbop. I absolutely love the color of this Topshop version and the simplicity and cut of this Alice & Olivia.
Club Monaco Striped t-shirt, J.Brand skinnies (I cut the bottoms), H&M trench coat (seriously obsessing for this one too), Miu Miu bag (old but similar here), Custom La Mer watch, Christian Louboutin Pigalle heels, Ray Ban sunnies, Dana Rebecca Lauren Joy, Giles + Brothers Railroad Spike Pave bracelet
