Bauble Bar Earrings

It is that time of year again! All of us are back in NYC for fashion week! And it is cold! Right before leaving Dallas had a crazy snow day so I was prepared for NYC to be even worse! It is, but not as bad as I thought! Doable for a few days. I am excited to be here and around so much great fashion. Very inspiring. I hope to report back with lots of pictures. In the mean time stay up to date with me via Instagram #MASfashionTravels

Until I can upload pictures from NYC I can tell you a little bit about what I packed. Think lots of fur, pants suits, leather, and blousy tops. Doesn’t sound out of the ordinary for M.A.S. but oh they are! I can’t wait to share! One thing you can be sure is in my suitcase are these earrings from Bauble Bar! They go with absolutely everything and add edge to the simplest of outfits (which are my favorite). Until I share my recent looks you can shop these earrings and lots more spring/summer pieces at Bauble Bar!

When people ask what my blog is about I usually answer, “my personal style and things that inspire me.” I love sharing inspiring, new, designers, ideas, or websites. Whether it be fashion, art, or home decor, I try to write about what is inspiring me at that moment. Right now that moment is Kira Plastinina. You may remember her label, Lublu, from the video I did with my gal pals; A Hot Day In December. She was kind enough to lend us some amazing pieces for the shoot. When I first walked in all of the deep blues and really cool patterns grabbed my attention. Her pieces are so unique and high quality, you can’t help but swoon.

When I opened my inbox the other morning to a new press release of her spring/summer line I had to open it. I must be honest, bloggers receive so many press releases a day  from people asking us to write about their clients “new line,” it is hard to read them all. Most of the time the designs are terrible and you feel bad for the firm who has to represent them. Lublu is so, NOT one of those designers. You know the designer is good when you can’t click on the, “download file” fast enough.  She always has fresh ideas and beautiful pieces and her new spring/summer line did not disappoint. It actually is my favorite she has done thus far. The beautiful emerald greens, whites, and flowy fabric make it unforgettable and really inspiring. I couldn’t stop looking at the items trying to find a favorite, but alas, it is absolutely impossible!

I hope you check out Kira and her designs at Lublu! If you are in Dallas check out her beautiful shop in Preston Center or browse online!

Alicia is one of those bloggers who inspires me. Not only through her amazing style, but through her “caringness,” ability to connect to others, and her sense of self. I’ve sat and talked to her and listened to her compassion for others and passion for life. I can honestly say that I don’t think this girl has a mean bone in her body. She is so easy to talk with. You almost feel like she is your friend you haven’t seen in ages but are able to pick right up where you left off. Don’t you love people like that? It isn’t very often you meet people who ask about you and genuinely care about your response. She has on numerous occasions texted me to “check-in” and catch up. In her world, there is always time for a friend. Can I gush anymore? Yes, I can, but I won’t. I will  let you make up your own opinion after you start following her. She will not only inspire you through her unbeatable style and glimpses of her interior decorating, but also by her sweet personality.

I hope you check her out and follow this amazing lady, I promise you, you will love what she has to offer!
