Full Circle

I am headed out the door this morning to run some errands and snapped a few photos of my outfit. I have really been into wearing tennis shoes lately; dresses, shorts, skirts. It totally throws me back to the early 90’s when I (in my tomboy state) wore tennis shoes with just about anything. Yet back then they weren’t fashionable nor was it in style. Fast forward a few decades and it is totally chic.
Nowadays, who needs to be a tomboy to rock sneakers when you have designers like Nike and Stella McCartney for Adidas designing fashionable, functional, and unique sneakers. I think designers are picking up on the idea that we are women “on the go” and don’t want to wear heels everyday to look stylish.
Speaking of on the go, I am actually on my way to Nordstrom to return these shoes (in black) I bought last week for a smaller size. I can’t wait to wear them with my leather shorts and a simple white top! viva la sneaker!

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out why women like all black; sliming, classic, and always in style. The other day I had a few meetings and errands to do and this outfit transitioned into both. If you are ever uninspired by your closet or have “nothing to wear,” do as the romans I do, turn to all black.
