I have always been fascinated by photography. I have spent countless hours studying photographs of people, while considering the angles, the lighting, and the editing the photographer used. I love the fact that photography has the amazing ability to transport us to a different time, or place with one single shot.
It was not until I started blogging that I decided to take photography more seriously. With camera in hand, I started experimenting with photographs of my apartment, of friends, and family. It was after experimenting in this way that I realized my passion for photography. I have no formal training or background in this field, but I realize that passion can open your eyes to the impossible, so not only did I invest in the proper equipment I also spent the necessary time to learn everything I could to enhance the skill it takes to be proficient with this passion.
I enjoy, and appreciate the opportunity to photograph bloggers, couples, influencers who make an impact in their profession, families, and also lifestyle type setting. I take an individual approach to each person I photograph. I make every effort to embrace and highlight the focus of what they are trying to convey to their audience with each session.
I look forward to working together and capturing the potential magnificence of your moments through my eyes and the lens of my camera.
It is getting warm here in Dallas and I am headed on my honeymoon in less than six days so I have summer on my mind. Do you ever think about something so much it is translated through your wardrobe? Since I have summer and vacation on the mind I have been dressing very festive! What screams, “it is summer,” better than white jeans, a panama hat, and a bright printed jacket?!
I, personally, live in white jeans in the summer. They are so chic and keep you comfortable in the 40 below zero air conditioning that is cranked during those hot months. I have friends who have told me they wished they could wear them but can’t because they aren’t flattering. On the contrary! I think white jeans are very flattering and I think it is an old wives tale that they aren’t. You do, however, need to make sure you get the right fit. If you are tall and thin go for a flare to show off your long legs. If you are curvier on the bottom go with a boot-cut or tapered silhouette and pumps to show off your sexy curves. If you are petite go with a skinny cut to show off your cute figure!

What a weekend! It was magical, perfect, and everything I had dreamt of. While I let all of the emotions and excitement sink in I will share photos from events throughout the wedding week.
Since most of my fiances family and friends are traveling from overseas my mother-in-law kindly hosted them to events and tours around Dallas before we all drove to Austin for the big day. The week started off perfectly with a “Tex-Mex” themed night. We ate amazing food from Mias, heard beautiful toasts from a few Swiss friends and family and enjoyed the beautiful 70 degree Dallas weather. It was a perfect kick off to an exciting week!
Finding dresses for wedding events is not as easy as it may sound. Do you wear long or short? Black-tie or cocktail? Flowy or constructed? The invite and venue should give an idea of the type of outfit but finding the exact dress that fills your needs is always the hardest part. When I have no direction at all I turn to websites or stores that offer a wide variety of dresses and designers. Max Studio is a new addition to my list of websites I visit to find the ideal dress. They have a variety and mix of designer dresses and affordable pieces.
They also offer regular clothing which is perfect for any day activities the wedding has set up, the send off brunch, or travelling back home. I, personally, want this sweater for travel days to the honeymoon and this bag for when we get there. Functional and cute!
