Swish, Spin

What makes a girl feel more girly then a swinging dress? I remember when I was little I would make my mom find me the poofiest dresses the store offered so I could spin around and around until I was satisfied with how high my dress flew. Things haven’t changed as I have gotten older. While the dresses are a different style and I don’t spin until my world is upside down I still love dresses that give that similar “swish” feeling when you walk.

Go-To

H&M pants (similar), Zara top, Seven for all Mankind clutch, Ray Ban sunglasses, ASOS leather jacket, Converse shoes, Cartier watch, L.A. Kahn bracelet
After NYFW I couldn’t even think about putting on another pair of heels. Even after a week my puppy dogs were still yelping. After finishing reading another blog where she talked about her need for converse I remembered mine from high school and dug them out of my shoe rack. Saturday when I was  asked to brunch I planned my outfit around the shoes then threw on my “go-to” leather jacket and a pair of black stretch skinnies (if your closet doesn’t have the latter, get on it).
TIP: Be inspired to not wear heels. 🙂 When you just can’t wear them anymore find a creative way to wear flats (and they don’t have to be conventional ballet flats).
