I love this quote! Interesting and different are always two of the best combos. Lately, I have been feeling a bit stale in the creative realm and have been really wanting to reach out to people I know are interesting and different. Dallas is full of these creative types and I am ready to take full advantage! Accepting friend applications! 😉
I  want to also thank  everyone who came to the CUSP event last night. It meant the world to see all the people who showed up and I really appreciate it (shout out to fellow Dallas bloggers: Brooke, Sam, + Ashley). It was a really fun night and I loved getting to meet Jen and Monica. They are so sweet, and like the above, interesting and different. One has a super cool blog she does with her friend about styling Target clothing (I am sure you’ve heard of it), and the other, is a singer and jewelry designer. I am not worthy. Needless to say, the night was great!
Lastly, I found out that voting for your favorite, “Rocker Chic,” look doesn’t end until Sunday! I could still use your help! 🙂 Vote here!
I’ll apply! But I’m all the way over in Hong Kong! For me, while I’m totally going for it in the fashion blogging realm, I am feeling the most creative I have been in a long time. It’s fun! Now to just figure out how to do this, plus my day job, plus garner an audience. (I think the last bit is the trickiest bit–but luckily not why I do it!) Luckily today starts a week long vacation from work so maybe I can catch up in a few areas. Stopping in here and seeing your invite….well I wanted to take you up on it even from way over here. There’s always the virtual life! Love, Ann of Kremb de la Kremb
Love this one 🙂 Such a simple sentiment, but says so much.

My friends and I had such a great time at your event, Mary! You, your husband and your “sister wife” are an adorable trio! PS- Everyone keeps complimenting me on my Barbie pink nails from the NM Nail Bar : )
