I have always been fascinated by photography. I have spent countless hours studying photographs of people, while considering the angles, the lighting, and the editing the photographer used. I love the fact that photography has the amazing ability to transport us to a different time, or place with one single shot.
It was not until I started blogging that I decided to take photography more seriously. With camera in hand, I started experimenting with photographs of my apartment, of friends, and family. It was after experimenting in this way that I realized my passion for photography. I have no formal training or background in this field, but I realize that passion can open your eyes to the impossible, so not only did I invest in the proper equipment I also spent the necessary time to learn everything I could to enhance the skill it takes to be proficient with this passion.
I enjoy, and appreciate the opportunity to photograph bloggers, couples, influencers who make an impact in their profession, families, and also lifestyle type setting. I take an individual approach to each person I photograph. I make every effort to embrace and highlight the focus of what they are trying to convey to their audience with each session.
I look forward to working together and capturing the potential magnificence of your moments through my eyes and the lens of my camera.

When you find an item you love, at least when I do, I find myself wearing it on repeat. It seems the pants from Banana Republic have been a real winner for me lately as I have purchased two pairs (the other one coming soon) that I can’t seem to take off. They fit great, are comfortable, and are a nice break from denim.

This is the jacket to end all jackets! I got this Harvey Faircloth Peplum Field jacket after seeing it at an event in Houston. My friend, Kelle, actually pointed it out to me and ever since she pulled it from the racks, I was in love. Over the years I have worked hard on building a closet full of staple pieces. I have the silk blouses, the perfect t-shirts, the classic tailored pants, and blazers a plenty. Now, I want to start buying pieces that are more of an investment but pieces I can always grab when I want a little extra pop. I have worn this jacket a handful of times and the reactions I get towards it makes me believe I found my “little extra pop”!
I am a closet beauty junkie. I get so excited when I get to try something new. That being said, I often cringe at the price and walk away without purchasing. Can you believe how expensive some beauty products are? I understand why some are more expensive and the fact that people “swear by them” but I can’t bring myself to buy them. I like my beauty products practical and effective.
I have a lot of products which I am really loving lately so I decided to share a few over the next few weeks! Starting with these five that I use pretty much daily!
Products I Love:
Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Botanical Cleansing Oil – I am such a fan of oil cleansers. I always use these towels (thanks HOP of the recommendation) to press the oil and my make-up off. The cleanser doesn’t leave your skin oily like you would imagine but is gentle, hydrating, and really gets all of your make-up and daily grim off!
Mary Kay Timewise Age-Fighting Moisturizer – I recently discovered this cream. While it isn’t super heavy for my dry days I do like it for everyday. It is light and moisturizing without being oily and it goes great under make-up!
bareMinerals BARESKIN Pure Brightening Serum Foundation – BEYOND OBSESSED with this make-up. Every time I wear it someone compliments my skin. No lie, every time! It is really light but gives great, natural, coverage. It also adds a gorgeous dewey, “I just woke-up like this glowing Goddess” look. I highly recommend trying this! tip: give it time to dry for a few minutes after applying!
