I have always been fascinated by photography. I have spent countless hours studying photographs of people, while considering the angles, the lighting, and the editing the photographer used. I love the fact that photography has the amazing ability to transport us to a different time, or place with one single shot.
It was not until I started blogging that I decided to take photography more seriously. With camera in hand, I started experimenting with photographs of my apartment, of friends, and family. It was after experimenting in this way that I realized my passion for photography. I have no formal training or background in this field, but I realize that passion can open your eyes to the impossible, so not only did I invest in the proper equipment I also spent the necessary time to learn everything I could to enhance the skill it takes to be proficient with this passion.
I enjoy, and appreciate the opportunity to photograph bloggers, couples, influencers who make an impact in their profession, families, and also lifestyle type setting. I take an individual approach to each person I photograph. I make every effort to embrace and highlight the focus of what they are trying to convey to their audience with each session.
I look forward to working together and capturing the potential magnificence of your moments through my eyes and the lens of my camera.
I came across this quote this morning and knew I had to build a post around it. Living a life of adventure is something that I whole-heartily believe in. I think you have to always keep it fresh and exciting or you walk a fine line of living a life where one day you look back and say “if only I would have done this or that.” EEK…. that is by far one of my biggest fears. Adventure is no doubt (in my mind) the greatest gift to give someone. I believe it so much I vowed it to zee hubby in front of 200 people a few weeks ago. I don’t necessarily think you have to travel to India or fly to the moon to achieve adventure. You can go to your local park with a picnic basket and find it there. I truly believe adventure is what you make it and and can be found anywhere you want it to be. So this weekend, go out, do something new and create your own adventure.

With a week to go until the wedding I am trying to live by this quote. There are last minute details and decisions to be made and things can get overwhelming if you don’t step back, breathe, and “just be cool.” I am still in utter shock that the wedding is only a week away. Where did the time go? I look at pictures from the engagement and feel like it happened yesterday. I can’t believe this journey is almost over, but I must admit, I am beyond ready and excited to start the next chapter of my life!
If you missed M.A.S. here are a few links to the past weeks posts
I was scrolling through One Kings Lane this morning and came across a “Pillow Talk” section. I am such a quote junkie (if you couldn’t tell every Friday) so I wanted to see what they had. This pillow instantly caught my attention. With all of the hustle and bussle of life it is easy to let it pass by without being present in the moment. This is something I try and work on every day; just enjoy the moment. I always get so wrapped up in the future and making plans that I do, very often, forget about the now. So whether it takes a pillow or many more years of practice I am going to try and “stop for a minute and smile” because it does go by very fast!
