I have always been fascinated by photography. I have spent countless hours studying photographs of people, while considering the angles, the lighting, and the editing the photographer used. I love the fact that photography has the amazing ability to transport us to a different time, or place with one single shot.
It was not until I started blogging that I decided to take photography more seriously. With camera in hand, I started experimenting with photographs of my apartment, of friends, and family. It was after experimenting in this way that I realized my passion for photography. I have no formal training or background in this field, but I realize that passion can open your eyes to the impossible, so not only did I invest in the proper equipment I also spent the necessary time to learn everything I could to enhance the skill it takes to be proficient with this passion.
I enjoy, and appreciate the opportunity to photograph bloggers, couples, influencers who make an impact in their profession, families, and also lifestyle type setting. I take an individual approach to each person I photograph. I make every effort to embrace and highlight the focus of what they are trying to convey to their audience with each session.
I look forward to working together and capturing the potential magnificence of your moments through my eyes and the lens of my camera.
I used to take packing so seriously. I would not only stress for weeks before a trip I would make sure I had new pieces and a ridiculous amount of outfit options. While I still plan and think ahead for what I want to pack, the stressing part is gone. As is the overpacking and overbuying. One of the reasons this changed was my evolution from being trendy to adopting a more classic and minimalist approach to fashion. I love finding about six pieces that I can pack and can interchange throughout my trip. Usually this consist of a pair of black pants, blue jeans, a white t-shirt, a black t-shirt, a silk blouse, a light sweater and a coat.
I snapped a few photos of outfits I will be packing for upcoming trips and this all black ensemble is definitely coming with me. Two of the key pieces are from my FAVORITE french brand, Sézane. If you haven’t heard of it yet, just know that you will be thanking me for years to come. They make capsule collections that are literally everything you’ve been dreaming of! The monogrammed bag (which is so gorgeous in person) and the leather sneakers are part of their fall collection. I am telling you, these sneakers are so chic in person. I wore them on a recent trip and by the end of it two of my fellow travelers had purchased them! They can easily be paired with jeans for running around or a dress for a night out.
If you are looking for classic pieces to fill your closet or suitcase, my favorites are Sézane, Modern Citizen, and Everlane.
