I have always been fascinated by photography. I have spent countless hours studying photographs of people, while considering the angles, the lighting, and the editing the photographer used. I love the fact that photography has the amazing ability to transport us to a different time, or place with one single shot.
It was not until I started blogging that I decided to take photography more seriously. With camera in hand, I started experimenting with photographs of my apartment, of friends, and family. It was after experimenting in this way that I realized my passion for photography. I have no formal training or background in this field, but I realize that passion can open your eyes to the impossible, so not only did I invest in the proper equipment I also spent the necessary time to learn everything I could to enhance the skill it takes to be proficient with this passion.
I enjoy, and appreciate the opportunity to photograph bloggers, couples, influencers who make an impact in their profession, families, and also lifestyle type setting. I take an individual approach to each person I photograph. I make every effort to embrace and highlight the focus of what they are trying to convey to their audience with each session.
I look forward to working together and capturing the potential magnificence of your moments through my eyes and the lens of my camera.
We are headed out the door for Berlin this morning but I wanted to share a few snaps I took while in Verbier. What a magical spot! The town itself is so cute and picturesque with all of the snow covered chalets surrounded by Swiss Alps. I mean it is a dream. One night we decided to walk the 45min path up the mountain to La Marmotte, an amazing restaurant with typical swiss food. After stuffing our face with raceltte, rosti, and lots of wine, we sledded down. It was a night I will never forget! Once you are at the top of the mountain it is so beautiful and clear. I really can’t type it into words how heavenly it is. The sledding was a hoot, as I may be the worlds worst, but I will never forget the night! Memory made!

As you can see the title to this post is, London Ease. I have been finding it quite easy to dress for this trip. I was really prepared and laid out outfits before and only packed basics which could be worn multiple ways with multiple different pieces. I am really proud of myself as I am usually the worlds worst packer! While I have found dressing for this trip easy there is something that I have found extremely difficult; blogging.
Last night I was talking to my mother-in-law about all the work that goes into creating a post and thought it would be an interesting way to explain my lack of recent TLC. Unfortunately it is quite difficult to just “throw together,” a post. Each one takes time and work that most people do not understand. Since I am a last minute type of gal I did not have anything planned for while I was gone. I always tell my clients to create a content calendar, but as we all know taking your own advice is the hardest thing to do. Since I was going to be traveling I thought I would come up with content as it came to me because I am always most inspired while traveling. Unfortunately, I didn’t take into account how much traveling we would be doing. To create a post you need a lot of time; first to come up with the idea, then create and edit the content, write the post and link where necessary, and then spend the rest of the day promoting on social media. whew! In writing it all out it doesn’t seem like a lot but it takes tiiiiiimmmmeeeee. So, to end this long excuse, I apologize for being such a terrible blogger and I hope to update regularly going forward (i make no promises). I guess, in the new year (among many other resolutions) I need to be organized and prepared so I do not fall behind. eeek!
Happy Holidays from London! I am so embarrassed I haven’t posted this week but we all know how crazy the holidays have been. With packing, traveling, and exploring the city it has been a whirlwind. I hope to be back on track with posts but I make no promises 🙂 We are off to Geneva tomorrow to spend Christmas with the in-laws. I am really excited to see them and play with my two little nephews (who are the cutest boys in the world). Isn’t being with family (new or old) the absolute best?! It definitely puts me in my happy place.
The fashion — One piece I have been wearing (a lot) is this beautiful Jaime party skirt (seen here and here). It has been perfect for the holiday season and fits in at all of the holiday events. I have tried to style it three different ways to show you all of the ways it can be worn. But really, I can just tell you. It is a super versatile piece. Christmas dinner or New Years Eve, it is one hell of a piece! I have saved this last look – my favorite- for last. It is a playful way to dress the skirt down while still looking put together. Lynsey, the amazing photographer, told me she would have put sneakers with it. Maybe a little outside my comfort zone but definitely an option for you. I hope you have enjoyed all the ways to style the skirt!
