Presque Parisienne

‘Presque Parisienne’ which literally means, almost Parisienne. A notion not too far off when you think about how classically french a great stripe is. The french have maintained a reputation for being effortlessly chic. They can throw on a pair of pants and a t-shirt and somehow make it look like they are ready for the red carpet. While most of us don’t have that magic power, that is okay as we can rely on the classic striped t-shirt dress. An easy way to look polished and ready for the day. It is also something I always have in my suitcase while traveling. Dress it up with a blazer or pair it down with sneakers. The striped t-shirt dress is a MUST not only for your closet but also your next trip!

**Here are other Shopbop items I will be posting this week and next (grab them while they are on sale)

  • This Stateside button-up shirt dress has been a staple ever since arriving a few weeks ago. It is soft, comfortable, and easy! I have worn it as a dress and a swimsuit cover-up!
  • This Ace&Jig over-sized blouse was perfect for those hot Miami days on the beach and running to lunch. It runs large so I recommend sizing down (maybe even two sizes)
  • I have been wanting black cut-off shorts since last summer and with these Blank Denim at $68 they were hard to pass up. They also fit amazing and looked great with a blouse or plain t-shirt
  • You will all know my love for these Superga Platform sneakers in the coming weeks (as you will see them in every outfit). I wanted a plain white sneaker for the summer and these were the perfect mix of cool and classic
