M.A.S. on Threadflip

Threadflip

Spring cleaning. Yuck! Every year I start this process only to keep everything I needed to giveaway. I tell myself, “Oh that is cute, I will wear it this way and that way.” Do I? No. Never. This process happens every year so you think I would learn by now to just, throw it away. I am definitely a creature of habit so breaking it takes a while. However, once I do, it is done! This year I am breaking the habit.

I have been wanting to sell some pieces from my closet but am over taking them to Buffalo Exchange (isn’t it embarrassing when they don’t take something), and ebay is a waste of time unless you are selling high money items. Frustrated and lost for a place to go, I donated half my closet not too long ago. Tax write off, right? I was still frustrated with this whole process and really wanted to sell my pieces when my dear friend, Lynsey, told me about Threadflip.

Threadflip is by far one of the easiest places to sell your clothing. And guess what, “there is an app for that.” Yup, they even have their own app. You simply put in what you are selling, pull up a picture of the piece, list the price, and then hit done. After a few weeks of not selling the price will go down so you are pretty much guaranteed to sell your item. Pretty cool, huh? I will be adding pieces throughout the next few weeks so definitely check back! But in the mean time, shop till you drop! 🙂

Madwell top (since sold out but similar here and here), Haute Hippie pant (similar ASOS slim fit pant), Clavin Klein coat, Chanel shoes, Revlon “Love That Red” lipstick, Forever21 sunnies and ring, Miu Miu bag

Well, I am caving. I am off to pick up my juices, from No1 Le Jus, for my first juicing, ever! Scared? Terrified and excited is more like it. Mainly terrified for the people who have to be around me when I don’t have food. My husband likes to call the moment I am hangry (hungry and angry), “the beast,” because when I am hungry, watch out! I think it will help that I am doing  it with two of my dear friends. So whenever I feel the need to scream, I can just call them and commiserate.

I am not doing it for weight loss reasons, because the weight will come back as soon as you start eating, but just to “start a new.” Doesn’t that sound  nice?! To be honest I have always been really anti- juicing because I think it sounds unhealthy and really unnatural. But, after much research and reading I think I have found the place that knows what they are doing. But I still want to warn you, if these post turn angry the next few days, you know why.

Wildfox ‘Oh La La’ sweatshirt (t-shirt version here),  Wildfox Couture Crystal Delux sunniesJ.Brand Aidan Boyfriend jeans, Asos beanie, Vince D’orsay shoes (inexpensive option here)

In honor of this cold front that has swept across America I thought a sweater and beanie were perfect. I am currently bundled up in an old sorority sweatshirt, fluffy socks, and yoga pants. I am clearly not cut out for cold weather! I wanted to thank everyone who came out to the Blushington event last night. It was so fun to see everyone and hang out with my gal pals, Molly, Sally, Lynsey, and Amy!

After our event a few of us went out to dinner to discuss our upcoming trip to NY for fashion week. I had no idea how close it was and am now totally stressing about what to wear. Last fashion week I was totally laissez faire about what I wore. I packed one outfit for each day and nothing more. That is totally find when you are heading to a weekend at your parents but for fashion week- big mistake! I felt like everyone had options to mix-and-match and I had one leather jacket, leather shorts, a cream sweater, and pants. I made due but this year I am going to be prepared. Today I am using as a day to rummage through my closet and try to find items I can wear that I already own. From there I will buy (aka search desperately for sale items), and fill in the gaps of what I need. Uhgggg, wish me luck!
