J.Crew Wool skirt (on major sale), Wildfox ‘Oh La La’ sweatshirt (t-shirt version here), All Saints boots, Ray Ban aviator sunnies, Henri Bendel clutch (old but shop similar here)

Me oh my, how caliente was that Victoria Secret fashion show last night? From the words of this sweatshirt, “oh la la!” Precisely the reason this outfit came to mind when deciding what to post today!  I shot this look a few weeks ago and have been waiting until closer to Christmas to post. Something about the red skirt (which is on ma-jor sale) screams holiday! I absolutely love it!

I decided to have a little fun with such a classic piece and added a funky sweatshirt and edgy All Saints ankle booties. side note: Ya’ll, this sweatshirt is so soft and comfy you feel like you are wearing a cloud! I was super squeamish of the price at first (I mean $100 for a sweatshirt) but once I had it on, I totally understood. Totally worth every penny!

I LOVE to wear similar color tones together so I had to top it off with my signature red (Revlon “love that red) lipstick. I actually had a funny encounter the other night at a party. I had no idea how often I wear red lips but apparently it is a lot. The hubs is a fan somedays and others days he totally doesn’t get it. But I was validated when a guy friend walked up to me at the party and said, “you wear red lips a lot. But I dig it. More girls should try it.” The hubs was standing right there and heard every word! Validation is sweet!

I first discovered Pour Porter via Pinterest. I believe I came across the Reality Zone Boot  and had to know who made such an interesting piece. Once I was directed to the site, I fell in love. Everything looks handmade and unique. I have been looking for a gold hand to display my rings but haven’t wanted to spend the $1300 Mrs. Wearstler is asking (although she did just come out with a more wallet friendly version). I can’t believe I found such a similar piece and for $64. That is crazy good! The site boast a long list of very talented designers who are so skilled in their fields which is why I am excited to introduce it to my readers. I think it is right up our alley and has something we will all fall in love with! I hope you enjoy!

I wasn’t lying when I said last week, “Dallas had an icepocalypse.” I was able to snap a few pictures before the hubs and I fortunately headed out of town. The roads were incredibly icy and I am not sure I have ever seen so many accidents or stalled cars, but that is the advantage of having a Swiss husband. He navigated the roads with suck skill that I fell in love all over again (or was just thoroughly impressed). It is still icy and cold as hell (never understood that saying)  here in Dallas which will of course make for good blog content (or just really great outfit backgrounds).

On to the fashion! How incredible are the hat and top?! I snagged them on a recent shopping trip in Chicago. Jena, who I was visiting, took me around to all the best Chicago shopping spots and one of the last stops was to meet Azeeza. Her label, AZZA by Azeeza Desai Kahn is unreal! You walk into the store and are immediately intrigued with the clean lines and pops of color. When you take a further look you become extremely impressed with her unique and beautiful embellishments. Everything just looks like a one of a kind piece.

She is a favorite among some pretty big names in the blogger world (ie. Chiara of the blonde Salad who has worn her many times). Once you see her designs you will understand why. I have a few other pieces I am excited to share with you in future posts. After you see them I think you will become just as AZZA obsessed as I am!
