You have been seeing this dress on recent posts (here) for a reason;. Striped dresses are so important to have in your closet (here is one on major SALE). Some people think they are unflattering or one demential, but I hope you can see after the past week that there are a number of ways to style it (one more to come).

My usual style isn’t over the top girly or flouncy. I love straight lines and basic staples. However, last week I had the sudden urge to buy a party skirt. After skimming through Pinterest and a few of my favorite blogs like, Atlantic Pacific (get Blairs skirt) and A Piece of Toast (get Molly’s skirt now on sale), I was totally inspired! They made them look so chic and fun! This was a party, I couldn’t miss. That day I went online and decided I was going to have fun with fashion and purchase one. I was so torn between this one or this one, but went with the latter. I have lots of fun ideas on how to style it, so stay tuned! I am thinking of sharing a, “one skirt, three looks,” kind of post!

p.s. how perfect are they for upcoming holiday parties?
