Miracle in a bottle

After graduating college my amazing parents went “tough love” on me and decided it was time to cut me off. Subsequently all “extras” that I had once thoroughly enjoyed were cut; which included highlighting my hair. To cut cost I darkened my hair, attempted ombre, and then went completely au natural. Until recently I had not touched my hair in almost two years! eek!

Unfortunately, your natural hair has a tendency to get oily faster so by regularly highlighting it you dry it out which subsequently adds body. After two years of limp hair I decided it was time to take the plunge and go back blonde so I could get my volume back. While at the salon I told my colorist to “dry my hair out.” Laughing at this odd request she introduced me to the AMAZING Oribe Dry Texturizing spray.

Oribe is a miracle in a bottle! It is dry shampoo, and texturizing spray. What that means is you get days of non-oily hair but lots and lots of volume! I introduced it to my mom who now uses it daily and has extra bottles for back-up, should one ever run out.

It is a bit pricey but I promise, seriously promise, you will not be disappointed! I am really picky at what I spend my money on and this is definitely worth every penny! What is even better is it comes in a travel size, so you can throw it in your purse for those days you need extra boost or as a sample to try.

I hope you all try it and love it as much as I do! Let me know your thoughts on it!

  2. Last September at NYFW, a fab blogger gave out bottles of this with her business cards. I have been using it ever since! Not only is it a little miracle in a bottle but it smells delicious!

  3. I never thought I would love my dry hair until I learned how to do it correctly, and now I love it because I can keep it blown out (aka not wash it) for days…please dont be grossed out!
