Brice and I have made it a point the past few weeks to enjoy Dallas. We have been exploring parts of the city we have never been, eating at different restaurants, playing various golf courses and discovering new parks. It has been a really fun process as it is easy to get stuck in a routine and forget all of the unique things your city can offer.
Klyde Warren is the new park in Dallas and it is situated perfectly in the middle of Downtown and Uptown. We decided to check it out for lunch since both of us had never been. My favorite part was being surrounded by all of the happy people who were enjoying food from the nearby food trucks, playing mini golf, or running with their dogs. The grounds will eventually have a restaurant, outdoor concert pavilion, and a complete dog park. I have an idea I will be going back a lot in the near future as Brice and I are welcoming a new, furry addition to the family. More details on that later 🙂

Such beautiful photography! I’m not sure why, but it surprises me that there are no leaves on the trees in Dallas. I know you occasionally get a little bit of snow, but for some reason I thought everything would still be green. 🙂 My boyfriend and I did the same thing last summer. We tried to explore something new in Toronto each weekend. We kind of gave up because it’s too cold in the winter, but we will definitely continue it this spring.
